Traffic Data

When you visit ClariSonus, our ISP collects basic information about your computer, including Internet Protocol Address, operating system, browser software, Internet Service Provider and saves them in logs. This information is not disclosed to anyone outside of ClariSonus, and is used for traffic analysis and debugging web site errors.

Use of Cookies

The ClariSonus blog uses “cookies” — a small piece of information which a web server can store temporarily with your web browser. These cookies are used solely to determine a user’s login status or hold information for commentors. For details on cookie usage, see http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Cookies.

Email

When a user registers on the ClariSonus blog, an email is automatically sent confirming the registration and delivering a password. An email address is used by the blog database to identify each user, so no two users can have the same email address. The email addresses stored in the blog database are never disclosed to outside parties and are not even looked at by the blog administrator. Any email communications from the blog administrators or authors use email addresses supplied by the users directly.

Any posts that an author or user posts on the site is publicly available, and therefore you should exercise caution when disclosing personal information. Inappropriate, rude, or defamatory postings or any spam may be removed by the administrator at his discretion. Users who continue to post inappropriately or spam may be blocked from accessing the site. Users who have undisclosed “sponsorships” regarding products or organizations mentioned in their comments will have their comments removed.  All content on the site, including author and user postings, is covered by the Creative Commons “Attribution-NoDerivs 2.5″ license. For information on this license, see: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/2.5/.
